Manchester Summer Arts College 2013

We’ve been working in collaboration with TIPP and Manchester Youth Offending Service on this year’s Summer Arts College. This year, the young people worked together to design  a board game based on their experiences of Manchester – exploring the streets, making choices and taking chances – and Choices and Chances was born! Over the course of three weeks, the young people tried their hand at a variety of different art forms that all fed into the design process and achieved their Bronze Arts Award too. The finished game showcases their original artwork and photography, inspired by places in Manchester that mean something to them. The group also made both a TV and radio advert to publicise their game – check them out on our Facebook page!
